With an ever expanding global economy, companies are sending employees to work across borders in record numbers. Canada’s largest trading partner, by a large margin, is the United States.

In this seminar, we will focus on the corporate and personal tax is-sues that arise when Canadian companies send employees to work in the U.S., either temporarily, or on a permanent basis. Among the topics we will discuss are:

  • Potential U.S. federal, state, and Canadian tax issues for Canadian companies with employees in U.S.
  • Tax residency for employees and what that means for their pocket book
  • Tax Treaty issues to be considered by companies with cross-border activities

During this 60-minute interactive session Richter partner and cyber-security expert Ray Vankrimpen will expose the tactics used by cyber criminals to steal your information and money.
