Canada's Oil and Gas Industry: Growing Our Economy, Improving Our Environment
Despite the developed world's focus on energy efficiency, global demand for oil and gas is growing as developing nations strive to attain a standard of living most Canadians take for granted. Canada could realize both economic and environmental benefits with an expanded role as a global supplier of oil and gas but faces several hurdles.
Engage with Mark Salkeld, President and CEO of the Petroleum Services Association of Canada (PSAC) and industry experts in a discussion about:

• The innovations and technologies developed by Canadian oilfield companies that are supporting our domestic transition to a lower emissions energy mix and generating employment and other economic benefits across Canada.

• How Canada, with abundant natural resources, robust regulations and responsible energy development, has an opportunity to play an important role in helping to lower global greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and lift developing nations out of energy poverty.

• What it will take to enhance Canada's oil and gas sector's role in balancing the growing need for energy with the need to achieve climate targets.
