42% of Canadian jobs risk being affected by automation, according to The Talented Mr. Robot: The Impact of Automationon on Canada's Workforce, a report from the Brookfield Institute for Innovation + Entrepreneurship (BII+E) at Ryerson University. 

That doesn't have to be bad news. 

Automation offers an opportunity for Canadian workers, employers, policymakers and educators to enhance technology's benefits and mitigate its risks.  Sean Mullin, Executive Director of the Brookfield Institute at Ryerson University, will moderate an expert panel discussion on restructuring, adaptation and the critical skills required by the next generation of professionals in the new era of work.
