Published by CME Webmaster

May 12, 2015

Welcome to Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters' Export IQ Seminar Series, sponsored by HSBC.

Webinar Description:

A significant amount of consumer goods and products are transported via road, rail, and air in Canada, the U.S.A. and Mexico annually. Over the past decade the global economic crisis has increased the demands for black market goods exponentially and the industry has seen a significant increase in cargo theft. Cargo theft is estimated to be a $5B problem in Canada, a $30B problem in the U.S.A and the National Cargo Security Council (NCSC) estimates the global financial impact of cargo loss to exceed $50B annually. The countries most at risk for cargo theft have been identified as Mexico, Brazil, South Africa, the U.S.A. and Russia.
