Iceland considers flying Loonie as new currency

Iceland is weighing its options between becoming the latest addition to the European Union and adopting the Canadian dollar as its official currency.
After the kroner suffered a meltdown in the 2008 banking crisis, seven in 10 Icelanders said they wanted to ditch the country's currency for something else.
While the majority want to leave their currency in lurch, only 26 per cent of Icelanders said they were interested in joining the EU.
