New Brunswick runs trade surplus for June

Published by Steve Coleman on August 12, 2011

While Canada's trade deficit, as a whole, ran $600 million higher in June, at least one province came out of the month in the black.

New Brunswick posted a $266.7 million trade surplus in June, up 48 per cent from May's numbers.
Industrial goods and forestry products accounted for most of the surplus, according to a New Brunswick Business Journal story.
