World Bank paints darker picture of 2012-13

The World Bank has painted a less-rosy picture of the world economy for 2012 and 2013.

The bank has lowered its forecast for 2012 and 2013 to 2.5 per cent and 3.1 per cent, respectively. Its original projections said growth would ring in at 3.6 per cent both years.
