Southern Ontario R&D gets helping hand

Sixteen small and medium-sized Canadian companies are getting a $750,000 hand bringing products to market after a new agreement between the federal government and the University of Waterloo became official Aug. 9.

The money will help the companies develop new products ranging from robotics to biofuels.
