Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters (CME) and HealthSource Plus announced today a strategic business alliance that will help job creators across the country save money on their employee benefits and thrive in this period of economic uncertainty.

As Canada's largest trade and industry association, CME has appointed HealthSource Plus as its preferred supplier of employee benefits programs. This partnership will provide CME members access to a wide range of products and services at competitive, sustainable rates.

"Our mission, especially at time of growing instability, is to make a tangible difference for our members," explains CME President & CEO Jayson Myers. "Joining forces with an industry leader like HealthSource Plus helps our members protect their bottom lines, and reinforces our commitment to offering superior services from only the top suppliers – all at the best cost."

"We were delighted to be chosen as the employee benefits consulting firm for CME members," says Jeffrey Stinchcombe, partner at HealthSource Plus. "We have been working closely with CME as our client for many years – so we understand the challenges that CME members have in today's competitive market and what we can do to help them optimize their employee benefits for the long term."

The latest offering in CME's Industry Benefits Program (IBP), HealthSource Plus delivers manufacturers and exporters a unique package of low-cost programs that are designed to help companies save money – permanently – and ensure their benefits plans are competitive, while remaining sustainable. CME members also receive the HealthSource Plus Total Wellness Program absolutely free, which will help employers lower their long-term costs by improving the health of their employees.

This addition to the IBP compliments a customized and comprehensive suite of offerings that include value-added risk coverage with Zurich Canada; discounts on forklifts through Canadian Forklift Distributors Limited; reduced rates on home and auto insurance from Tripemco Burlington Insurance Group Limited; up to 60 per cent off hotel stays and car rentals through Travel Save Pro, as well as customized online services from Ignite Web Solutions.

"This is the beginning of a long-term and important business relationship between HealthSource Plus and CME," adds Myers.
