CEOs to discuss trade opportunities

Canada and Brazil will be speaking at the highest corporate levels looking for new ways to do business together.

Prime Minister Stephen Harper and Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff announced Aug. 8 that part of the background work behind at freer trade between the two countries will include the launch of a Brazil-Canada CEO Forum.

Six CEOs from each country will work on a list of recommendations to help take the existing partnership to the next level and strengthen international competitiveness.

Canada and Mercosur trading block members Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay announced two months ago that they plan to look at ways to improve economic ties.
