Published by Steve Coleman on January 20, 2012

MEGA Brands Inc. and Lego have agreed to play nice.

The maker of MEGA Bloks and announced today that it has withdrawn its legal action in the US District Court of the Central Distric of California against Lego Juris A/S.

A short news release on the end of the court feud said the decision was made after the company received word from US Customs and Border Protection that it won't "interfere with the importation of any MEGA Brands products into the United States."

The two companies have been in a long-standing feud since Lego's patent over the shape of its building blocks expired. Lego lost a Canadian court ruling asking for an extended licence to be the sole producer of building blocks that shape and size.
