RIM restores BlackBerry service

Research in Motion says things are back to normal after four days of outages.

Messages arriving in Europe from Asia and the Americas were blamed for the backlog that started affecting BlackBerry users globally.

The problems prompted co-CEO Mike Lazaridis to issue a statement Thursday morning saying the company is taking "aggressive steps" to keep the problem from happening again.
