Number four chip maker names new CEO

The world's fourth-largest global contract chipmaker has appointed a new CEO.

Shanghai-based Manufacturing International Corporation named Chiu Tzu-yin to the position in a statement posted to the Hong Kong stock exchange Aug. 5.

The new man at the top holds 10 technology patents after 27 years in the business with TSMC and China`s Hua Hong Semiconductor.
