UBC launches China Links program

Published by Derek Lothian on October 31, 2011

The University of British Columbia is proud to announce the launch of the China Links Professional Seminar Series at UBC. This unique program, building on UBC's prestigious Summer Institute China Program, offers cutting-edge professional training for North American private and public sector organizations on important areas surrounding engagement with China. The program's intensive and flexible curriculum focuses on practical knowledge and informed decision-making capacities. It provides a proven mixture of expert instruction combined with simulation exercises based on real-life scenarios and situations commonly encountered in China. The aim of China Links is to give participants the necessary tools for working successfully in and with China, while strengthening the capacity of Canadian organizations in their overall China engagement.

The China Links core program is comprised of two modules: three days in Vancouver on the Point Grey campus of UBC from April 12-14, 2012 followed by one week in Shanghai from May 7-11, 2012. Instruction in China is held in collaboration with the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences (SASS) and the China Executive Leadership Academy, Pudong (CELAP).

For Canadian companies looking to strengthen their China capacity, please visit China Links at UBC.
