Report recommends goods, not jobs as manufacturing health guideline

A new look at the US manufacturing industry says it isn`t dying. It`s just changing.

A Wells Fargo study looking at the state of industry says analysts should be looking at the amount of goods produced, not the number of jobs manufacturing provides.

While the number of jobs has dropped, the amount factories are producing has increased.
