Have your voice heard in the Ontario provincial election

Published by Brad Fougere on May 13, 2014

Dear members,

With the Ontario election now set for June 12, CME wants to ensure that manufacturing is a key issue in the campaign. We will work diligently to have each party state what it will do to support and build this crucial sector.

Manufacturing contributes over $275 billion in annual output and employs 700,000 workers directly and almost 1.4 million more workers have jobs that are indirectly dependent on manufacturing.

It is not enough to acknowledge the changes and challenges that manufacturers are facing. Our future standard of living and quality of life depends on the province being successful in growing the manufacturing sector.

I encourage you to engage your local candidates in a discussion on the importance of manufacturing.

Please reach out and let me know what the top issues facing your business are. We will ensure that the candidates hear about them throughout the campaign. I can be reached at
