$250-million investment in General Motors to bring new products, more efficient production

General Motors announced a $250-million investment in the CAMI Assembly Plant in Ingersoll, Ontario on Friday, which will be used to install flexible body shop equipment and tooling, converting the manufacturing facility to support future vehicle production.  

The investment will translate into the production of a wider variety of products, on multiple platforms and at lower costs. Committed to manufacturing flexibility, GM will be able to introduce products to the market faster and more efficiently.
