U.S. manufacturing reaches a turning point

A new study says American manufacturing is at a crossroads.

Depending on the actions legislators and corporate leaders take, the sector could ramp up to meet 90 per cent of U.S. demand or fall flat on its face and only make 40% of the goods Americans consume.
