Libya opens for business, again

The battle for control of Libya may not be quite over, but the fight for Canadian businesses to get back in and do business is.

Canada lifted the sanctions against doing business with the Gadhafi government on Sept. 1 after rebels seized power from dictator Moammar Gadhafi.

Several Canadian companies were doing business with the north African country before a crackdown on protests turned into a civil war.

At this point, companies are taking a wait-and-see approach to how things turn out.
