EDC chief economist tour begins April 24

Published by Brad Fougere on March 28, 2014

Canada’s export development agency is hitting the road in April to bring its insight to the trade community. Starting April 24, EDC will present a month-long series of presentations by Vice President and Chief Economist Peter G. Hall. Entitled Let’s Talk Exports Cross Canada Tour, it begins in Burlington and ends on May 30 in St. John’s. The tour will be followed by a webinar on June 3 for all interested parties unable to attend in person.

Let’s Talk Exports is the most productive hour you’ll spend to help you make sense of our current growth cycle and its impact on Canadian businesses like yours,” EDC said in a release.

Opportunity and risk for the year ahead, industry specific outlooks, individualized provincial potential and tips for global success will all be on the agenda.

Mr. Hall is a veteran EDC economist who also heads the Canadian Association for Business Economics as its president. He has been with EDC since November 2004 and provides an informative and entertaining look at trade through his unique lens.
