Chinese exports hit highest levels in two years

Published by Steve Coleman on August 10, 2011

The planet's biggest exporter has recorded its highest sales volume in two years.

China's trade surplus increased to U.S. $31.5 billion in July, based on $175.1 billion in exports and $143.6 billion in imports for the month.

While the weakening worldwide economy hasn't taken the fire out of the Dragon, yet, experts are predicting the pace of Chinese exports could fall in the second half of the year.
