Unique capabilities and world class manufacturing mean new opportunities for GE Peterborough: CME

CME congratulates GE Canada on winning the mandate for the first phase of motors for the Energy East project, securing an investment that will create over 250 direct and indirect jobs at its world-class manufacturing facility in Peterborough, Ontario.

"This is a great day for GE Canada and for Peterborough," said CME's President and CEO Jay Myers. "The new mandate for GE's Peterborough facility will have a widespread impact,generating jobs at GE as well as new opportunities for suppliers of innovative technologies and services."
