MISSISSAUGA, Ontario--Microsoft Canada, Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters (CME) and RtTech Software invite Ontario manufacturing companies to the Smart Manufacturing Meets SMART Program Event on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 from 11am-2pm. Hosted at Microsoft’s Canadian head office in Mississauga, Ontario, the session aims to provide useful information on smart manufacturing technology innovations and funding opportunities through CME’s SMART Program. The no-charge event will include keynote speakers from Microsoft, CME, and RtTech Software with topics to include industrial analytics for manufacturers, the advantages of cloud-based computing, and detailed information on CME’s SMART Program. The SMART Program provides funding for qualifying companies focused on improving productivity through the adaptation or adoption of advanced technologies. Projects will be eligible for funding of up to 35 per cent of qualifying costs to a maximum contribution of $100,000. “CME SMART is pleased to partner with RtTech and highlight the benefits of their advanced technologies that the program is able to support through a contribution of up to $100,000 in funding,” says Ian Howcroft, vice president, Ontario Division of CME.
