"Since joining the MEC I have had my eyes opened to the level of sophistication in our Council members and their manufacturing businesses. I am proud to call my peers on the council friends and know that DHSP has realized a lot of value from benchmarking against their best practices. I also appreciate the time out that I take for the monthly Council meeting which gives me a chance to reflect and think strategically about how to improve our business."
- Mike Schlender, Deere Hitachi Specialty Products
"Once a month, I get advice from manufacturing CEOs who have made the mistakes I am trying to avoid. The MEC has reduced my consulting bills, increased my business acumen, and given me a group of friends who I can call on in my darkest hour. "

"Participants can confidently discuss key challenges that they are dealing with in their respective businesses, knowing that they have the collective wisdom of a peer group of executives to help them sort through options and develop an action plan. Our MEC members have become very comfortable with one another and we communicate often even outside of the monthly meetings. The companies that are involved are quite diverse in size and business scope but its remarkable how common our challenges seem to be."
- Michael McLaughlin, Roxul Inc.
